What a crazy week with the power outage on Tuesday and no school on Wednesday. I enjoyed the several conferences we had in the dark. It's nice to mix things up a bit. Thank you for all of your patience and flexibility.
On Monday we are back to the regular schedule. The spelling packet for The Talking Cloth will go home and is due on Friday. The book fair is extended 2 more days (Monday and Tuesday). Many thanks to all of the families who purchased books for the class. It's nice to have a new selection for students to choose from.
The landform projects were turned in on time, despite the rain, and turned out wonderful. Students were excited to see what others did and were excited to share with the class. We are both very proud of all the kids hard work. NICE JOB!
We would also like to thank Mrs. Star and Mrs. Weeland for organizing the Halloween party on Friday, October 30. The party will begin at 9:40, right after the morning recess. Look forward to seeing you then.
